Me, Myself, and I!

My name is Megan Bailey, but I prefer to go by just my last name. I am from the generation of girls where Sarah, Megan, Ashley, Kate, and Jessica were apparently the only choices available to all parents! To distinguish among the sea of uniformity, my Kindergarten teacher decided to call each child by their last name - in this case Bailey - and it has stuck with me ever since.

Originally from Richmond, VA, I moved to New York 7 years ago to pursue a career in musical theater. After having performed off-Broadway and national tours for several years - my favorite roles include Maureen from "RENT" and the star-to-be in "ANNIE" - I chose to go back to school to further my education. I hope to graduate this year with a major in Corporate Communications and a minor in History. Other than my academic pursuits, i work at Blue Water Grill in Union Square and live in an absolutely enormous apartment with my best friends in Washington Heights. Having worked from a plethora of managers, all with different managerial styles, I hope to gain perspective on the most effective and current form that will eventually lead to my success in the workplace.
